E-Brake Adjust

I just replaced my rear calipers, rotors, and pads. I bled the system and my brakes work great but my e-brake engages toward the end of its travel; it used to engage a lot sooner. Is there an adjustment, and if so, how do I do it?

The cable can be adjusted but if you just replaced the calipers, with use they should adjust themselves.

What turbo510 said. I believe to adjust the cable only you have to remove your rear ash tray and possibly the center arm rest. There is a nut under there that adjusts the handbrake cable.

Never mind what I said I mis-spoke. You have to remove the arm rest and use a screwdriver to hold the handbrake in place. The parking brake adjusting components are in the tunnel for FWD and in front of the lower rear control arm for quattro vehicles. You will need roughly 13mm open end wrench to hold the nut and turn the other adjusting nut by hand. Hope that helps. As soon as I can find the pdf's I will try to post clearer instructions.
