Eclipse deck?

Eclipse deck?

I've heard that they wont fit in older A4s and I've heard that they will.

Anyone have one in their car, if so what model... have trouble getting it in place and getting it to stay?

CD5425 / CD5435 are the ones I was looking at, if that helps at all.

Any particular model Eclipse? Had this one, I removed all the green LED's and soldered in red ones

I have an 8445. The only odd thing I had to do was use the spacers from (2) install kits. Not a

big deal and absolutely worth it. I've been into car audio for a long long time and nothing I've ever had touches this thing for sound quality. Mine matches the interior lighting perfectly too.

I had a 5302 and a 5303 and those decks were a bit thicker than the others

I replaced a JVC and a Sony with an Eclipse 5302 and a 5303 respectively back in kollege in my Honda, and both times the Eclipses were about 1/16" thicker than the ones I was replaceing. It meant a little trimming on the face plates, but they did fit.
