ECT SENSOR

Since I've changed my ECT sensor, my dash temperature gage does not go over 65 degrees. Has anyone ever experienced this issue. Was it caused by the fact that I removed the ECT sensor?

Do you mean the outside temp? Or the coolant temp?

Hi again Kris. It's been a while. Actually, it is the collant temperature. When I pop out the ECT sensor to change it, some pressure and coolant came out. I then refilled the coolant liquid tank. Where did I go wrong?

Do you get heat out of the dash vents?

Since I've changed the ECT sensor, it is not as warm. When I get to a stop sign, you could feel that the temperature inside the cabine goes down. If I stay on Park or Neutral for a long time, the temperature(Engine coolant gage)goes up but as soon as I go for a drive, she drops back to as low as 65 degrees.
