ECU help needed
This question may be a little on the ignorant side, so bear with me. I removed the environmental cover for the ecu and now I am staring at a bunch of stuff. What do I need to pull out to send to Wett? I see one large silver box towards the front, two black ones side-by-side towards the rear, and another black one off by itself towards the passenger side. Thanks for your help.<p>Stephen

The large silver box is the ECU which you'll need to send to Wett. You'll first have to remove the metal spring clip which holds the ECU in place. Use a screwdriver to release the spring clip by unhooking the right-side latch. Push the screwdriver in towards the ECU to release the latch and unhook the spring clip. My ECU has two black connectors going into the back of the ECU. Each connector had a plastic clip which slides off toward the sides of the car...as it slides out, the connector will disconnect from the ECU. It should now come right out.<p> Andy Hedin
