ECU Recoding help needed...
I'm trying to recode an ECU for a friend to FWD tiptronic but it won't take the coding. I've read about others running into this problem and have seen posts that say it doesn't matter if the ECU is softcoded for quattro as it is completely mechanical. Is this the same case for FWD? I have been able to get it to take the code 06051 which is for FWD without traction control but he has ASR I believe and the current code is for FWD without ASR, will this be ok or is asr controlled by the ECU? Thanks for any help!!!
