ECU remap

I have just bought a audi a4 1.8t quattro and was thinking of getting the ecu remapped. Was just after some advice on weather its good idea or not. Cheers all.

I see this is your first post so let me direct you up to the "search forums" option at the top left of the page. It will yield literally thousands of posts on this topic.

There are many different options for "chipping" or "flashing" your ECU. A model year and transmission would help more people direct you. There are a few different companies that are the most popular/accessible. GIAC and APR are the two most popular (that I've seen).

Please search on any questions you have before posting them, though. People will flame the shiznit out of you if you don't ; )
