electronics problem... anyone else had this? ...
My sisters 2001 A4 front-wheel drive 1.8T Is doing some wacked out stuff. It all started one night when she looked out her window and the hazards were blinking. She unlocked the car doors with the key (not the keyless entry because the remote doesn't work). Her buttons on her switchblade key recently quit working so I am not sure if the alarm is arming/disarming itself properly. She used the hazrd button on the dash to shut off the hazards. The car starts fine but there is a few problems.
1.The dome light doesn't work
2. The windows and the sunroof don't open
3. The alarm won't arm when I lock the doors
4. The power locks don't work and I can only open the other doors by pulling the handle from the inside.
5. When a passenger gets in from any of the other 3 doors the info center on the dash shows that the dor they got in at and the drivers door is open even though the drivers door is closed.
Is there some way to reset the alarm/electronics

possible answers
1. replace the dome light, my dad's s4 light blew out a while back and we just replaced it.
2. no clue
3. you need you remote to arm the alarm, if you manually lock the doors that doesn't arm the alarm.
4. still under warranty?
5. that's normal, it's some safety feature, there was a post a while back about this and someone said that this was normal
