Engine Service Light
I was driving my car yesterday after I filled up the gas tank in Vail, when a few miles into my drive the yellow check engine light came on. I recently just replaced my headlight switch but i doubt that has anything to do with it. Would does this mean? Should i bring it to an Audi dealer asap?

common causes of CEL light:
- gas cap not closed all the way
- dip stick not inserted all the way in
- running fuel tank to all the way to empty
- adding fuel while the engine is running
The car must be hooked up to a VAG-tool at your dealer, in order to diagnos what the problem is. There are some people here that have them and they could do the diagnosis for ya.
But typically, you only really have to worry if the CEL light is FLASHING. In that event, DO NOT drive the car!
