Engine temp sensor

I am a new audi owner and was wondering where to find my engine temp. sensor on a 1999 A4 2.8L motor. Thanks for any help.

I'll help the n00b guy.

But for future reference, STFA is a good way to go, and there is a tech section at the top of the page under "resources"

Here's a Hansen write up. Be sure to replace both the click and the o-ring along with the sensor.
