EPC Light Issues
OK. Yesterday, my car had a hard time firing on a hot start. Once it finally started, the EPC light was on and the RPMs would not go below 1200. I started it later (after sitting for a while) and everything is fine and no EPC light.
Questions:
First of all, what is 'EPC'?
Any ideas on what might be causing it?
What module reads the EPC codes?

EPC Light
I have issues with my 2002 A6 Quatro. The EPC light will come on. I turn the car off and restart and the light is off.
Now it seems to be happening more frequently and sometimes the light will remain on after restart. After letting the car sit and restart it will be fine again just very random? I know it is not a cheap fix, any suggestions?
