Fault code.......17544.........

17544 - Long term fuel trim add. Fuel(bank 1) system too lean. 35-10 --- Intermittent.

wonder wat is this? and will it damage my engine?

I had the same dtc right before my TB went out.

I had a similar "system to lean" code and it was a bad Vac line

I got the same code

The vacume line on the #1 cylinder is leaking. I replaced mine myself (also replaced the other vac line from the DV to the manifold)...Cost: $10. The vac line is on the top of the engine, cloth coated and is only about 4inches long. Very easy. You should fix soon. Running lean isn't the best for the car but you're not in immediate danger.

It can be either a vac line at the FPR or your maf is going bad.

You want to look at block 032 and see what your short term and long term fuel trim values are at. This is one way of seeing if the maf is starting to die out.
