finally decided on Intercooler situation
i finally decided im going with a FMIC (either from DUH or EVO) just wondering...am i going to have any engine cooling issues in the summer with most of the Radiator being blocked by the FMIC???...and also, the fan that is engaged after the car is turned off...do the B5's have that?...if they do, mine isnt working and the dealer refuses to recognize it.

you wont have any problems with the cooling, that is what the intercooler is there for : P
id say pass on DUH. They have an awesome FMIC but it takes them a long time to get it done cause they have a bunch of crap to do and wait for and stuff, somebody had talked about it before. Anyways, Ray Kahn has waited almost 2 years for his DUH FMIC.
Id say go with evo or greddy, either of them will get the job done. I think the evo is a littl bit easier to fit though.

Granted, that's on a transverse 1.8T.. but I would espect somewhat similar results on an A4.

Well looking at the graphs from TyrolSport, the FMIC they tested elevates coolant temps
