First flat on the A4

After a ____ day at work, I get 25 ft and feel something odd. Get out - flat drivers front. Fvck! Replace with donut that I had to inflate a bit with my pump. Drove the 18 miles home on local roads. My diffs will be ok, right?

Great incentive to put the winters on. Like I didn't have anything else to do tonight...

PSA: Keep that spare inflated or carry a pump.

why do you have donut? My spare is full size. Not same as wheels/tires on car, but still full size..

did you remove full size and put donut in?

I had one on the jeep... the BFG AT KOs that had taken so much abuse on the trail...

hit something on the highway, doing nearly 80, and it took a HUGE chunk out of the rubber... right where the sidewall meets tread. Craziest thing I'd seen.

The Jeep maintained its composure surprisingly well, even at that speed. Full-time 4wd helped, I'm sure.
