FMIC progress: Almost done
I worked half the day with the fmic mounted like this.

BTW, THANKS for the boot! And FWIW you have inspired me to get back into sewing (I'd done some years and years ago) so I have purchased a serious 100+ lb commercial/industrial duty machine that will do like 6-8 layers of light/medium leather, 8-12 layers of heavy canvas and so on. Single stitch, double needle stitch, straight or zig-zag. Has all sorts of "feet" for everything I could ever want to do.
Should be here on Monday/Tuesday. Built in like 1963, cool. ;-)
