FMIC progress: Almost done
I have my pipes basically done, just have to adjust them a bit so they are a little more parrell. Only thing I have to do it trim my bumper a bit for the pipes. I was hoping to not have to touch the bumper but oh well. I lost about 1-2 psi but the car seems to be a bit faster says the butt dyno.
I worked half the day with the fmic mounted like this.

I also bought this today and it made the project so much easier.

You are using flux core wire aren't you. ;)
It's *got* to be by the weld quality...... no flame intention, really, but it really shows. Try it with C20 gas, the difference is huge.
BTW, THANKS for the boot! And FWIW you have inspired me to get back into sewing (I'd done some years and years ago) so I have purchased a serious 100+ lb commercial/industrial duty machine that will do like 6-8 layers of light/medium leather, 8-12 layers of heavy canvas and so on. Single stitch, double needle stitch, straight or zig-zag. Has all sorts of "feet" for everything I could ever want to do.
Should be here on Monday/Tuesday. Built in like 1963, cool. ;-)
