Foglight issues

My foglights on my 2001 13k miles, have recently stopped working.
When I push the button to turn them on, the lights flash for a second, then go off. The rear foglight is not working either. The fog light button/switch, shows them as being on.
Any help/hints would be appreciated.

relay might be dead.....

a fuse would keep them off.

A bad relay or short could cause that.

It could also be the switch

My audi dealership has had the car for 3 days and still cant figure it out.

Does this surprise you?

To fix the alarm/locking system on my car it took DCH audi like half a dozen visits and finally a 5 day stay over to get it fixed.
