Foglight mod question....
I was up in Vancouver, B.C. a couple weeks ago for The Great Canadian VW show. I remember seeing A4s running around with their fogs lights on independent from the headlights (fogs on, headlights off). I saw this on practically every A4 there. Is it possible that the Canadian A4's have the "european" relay?

First of all, when was it??? Damn! Secondly,
all our cars must have DRL's (daytime running lights) which i guess must be white since the signal lights stay on too (not sure about this part), so the fogs come on automatically when you start the car (this is definite). Only when you turn on the lights, do they go out automatically, and then you can have them on too.

Great Canadian?? It was Sunday, the 19th of August. I live in Portland and came up...
the night before. Beautiful country you have up there. Well, all except for Richmond

then they go out again...
i did notice that once you think you have the front of the car lit up (driving lights and fog lights) then want to turn on the high beams, the fogs go off again.
must do this to save gas.
