Front Bumper Problem
<center><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v736/Boomstick68/DSC00242.jpg"></center><p>Wondering if this can be fixed easily. The front end seems to unhinge and there are big gaps on both sides. I can temporarily snap it back into place but falls back down after a couple of days. Are there clips that can be replaced?

It's because of the "eye brow" plastic crap on the headlights... the bumper is depressed.
A lot of times the clips get crud in them and don't allow the bumper to seat into them fully.
Clean them out really well and see that they are locking together fully. But they may just be worn out. You can replace them, but it's a pain.... a lot of people put a couple screws in hidden pretty much from the inside fender area. Hard to explain.... but don't make a mess of it.... like the headlights. :-P

Oh yes, I've told my wife about the headlights and she finally let me order new ones. I seem to have taken over the car, hopefully I can save her. Thanks for the tip, when we thaw out here in CT., I'll give it a go. If I decide to replace the clips, are there any guides, I've been searching all morning with no luck. Thanks again and I promise to fix the lights.

eye brows are a bad move. but here is some constructive advice . . .
I cut a piece of a tie down strap and used a wood screw and a washer to tie the bumper into one of the torx screw in the wheel liner.
make sure you put the wood screw into some meaty plastic in the bumper. mine has worked like this for the past 2 years.

Really? My liner broke a few months ago right at the corner where
the screw hole is. Bumper started sagging. So while it might not be necessary it seems to prevent the sagging when the clip starts to wear out.

Wow, great idea. Thanks. To set the record straight on the eyebrows, they were from previous owner, but they will soon disappear.
