fuel injector problems

I dont understand what you are asking

for a non-dbw a4 you should have red top injectors not blue ones.

you dont need to grind or use any adapters, its plug and play.

Had 310cc installed and they were higer than stock, need 10mm spacer(used 1/2" bolt grind to size) and longer bolts to hold them down.

that answers my question :-\
looks like they sent me the wrong injectors... i told them to inlude a packing list but they said they checked it 3 times and it was fine :-\

guess i'll get on the phone with apr tommorow to get the right injectors

Can i run the car on stock injectors to get the car home?

If you MUST drive it try it but I would not boost at all. I would rather see you leave the car parked till you have the rigth injectors.

ok, im pretty sure i can leave it here at the shop..... thanks for your quick advice.

this is more of a what if than anything else, but could i use the blue injectors with a spacer?

I dont think that would be a very good idea.

the ecu programing tells the injectors to spray an amount of fuel based on a % of maximum flow. the blue injectors are stock TT injectors used for dbw stage III kits. the red ones for the NDBW kits are oem turbo porsche injectors and flow much more fuel then the tt injectors. the tt injectors would always be spraying less fuel then the car needs and expects.

you can buy the correct injectors online from epd and have them shipped overnight for under 300$ then return the tt injectors to apr and get a credit for about 400.
