G89 Sensor - HELP!

G89 Sensor - HELP!
Hey Guys,
The other day my ECT Sensor (G62) woesn´t working... even after a long trip, i always had 60º on the gauge. What really confused me was i had the following DTC:
Address 08: Auto HVAC
Part No: 8D0 820 043 P
Component: A4 KLIMAAUTOMAT D58
Coding: 00043
Shop #: WSC 63351
1 Fault Found:
00787 - Temperature Sensor in Fresh Air intake duct (G89)
30-00 - Open or Short to Plus
It was the only DTC. Nothing mentioning the G62. I replaced the G62 and it began reading 90º (like usual), but i continue having the same G89 DTC even whean i try erasing it.
Please note:
- G89 is reading "-48º"
- My A/C seems to be working ok.
How is this explainable?
What do you guys suggest?
