Get this...
Last Friday, I called Newton Audi in NJ.
I had ordered numerous parts from them. At the time the total of the parts came to about 475.00 and he said the shipping was free of charge being that his "guy" had to make a run up here anyway, cool! He had told me to call him back today to confirm that the parts came in, so I did.
When I called him back he said the parts were there. I asked him for the total amount again because I was doing the COD deal and these were his exact words, " I think the price was around 475 but ill give you this stuff for 400 bucks"...
I was amazed. That was the last thing I expected to hear from the dealer. Why would he do that?
Was he just being a nice guy? Hmmm... I didnt argue w/ him though.

hmmmm..all Audi parts just went through a price increase?? S parts (9D0) even worse!!
...$950.00 in S4 sills became $1400.00 over 1 weekend!! (i wonder if more 'common' parts have a lesser margin, and therefore, cheaper??)
