Getting a chip next week......

Well, I finally have the money to get a chip for my 2001 A4. I still haven't made up my mind on which brand yet though. Any arguments for a specific brand? Thanks for your input!

If you want to be able to swap programs on the fly go with APR(EMCS). Otherwise, GIAC.

Scroll back a few pages. Even several posts down. There ARE tons of posts/info/opinions on chips..

in the market by differents users.

If you want money off when you go Stage 3.. then APR. ;-)

I went APR and i love it, i've heard that Giac is faster, but puts more pressure on the car

No arguments, but my opinion is Buy local....

Install w/o down time, and support if ever needed.

I went GIAC due to local Chip-while-you-wait installer. absolutely NO regrets!!

It could have easily been APR, MTM, WETT etc.

GIAC is an excellent Chip. But, again Now I have APR Stage III.
