Getting closer to a solution to the boost problem

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/26867/boost_log_sm.jpg"></center><p>I resetted my ECU like Audi2ptzero said (BTW thanks) So I finally feel the extra boost from the Xchip. But still not as it was when it was first put in.

Here's a Graph of my boost log of Actual vs Requested. I know I should get at least 20psi with this chip. I max at 18psi. How much difference in feeling is the 2psi?! Doesn't seem to be a vaccum leak cause I'm still getting about 18psi? Or is it??

Advice needed. Thanks guys

Dude, that sucks. You sure you don't have a leak or faulty BPV?

I hold all through 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears at 1.3 bar from 2200RPM to 4800RPM, dropping to 1.0bar at 5000RPM.

Where are you located at and what is your elevation

and are you running logs in hot or cold weather?

Albany, NY - Temperature was about 70 degrees F last night when I logged the chart

If I had a leak wouldn't I produce about 8 psi or less?! My BPV seems to work fine as well.

No, you would just produce the same amount of boost but it would not get to the intake manifold.

But even your requested boost level is lower then it should be. So you might want to call up the dealer you got the chip from and see if they can replace it and see if the problem goes away.
