Going to the dark side
Well I have had great luck with my A4 with anything that failed fixed under certified pre-owned warranty. I was going to add Vogtland coil overs, H-sports, rims/tires, and chip. But now I want something faster, lower, and less prone to failures.
I'm going to look at a 2004 STI this Saturday. It has the factory lowering springs, 52k, stage 2 clutch, and it's tuned just shy of 300whp. It's at Anchor Subaru (Rhode Island).
Now my car is almost perfect, the (only!) problem is the interior motion sensor switch popped out.
(1.8T, Quattro, 5speed, NON SPORT
, Cold weather, ESP, Dimming mirrors, 74k)
If I take it down and use it as a trade in will I get ripped off?
How much should I expect them to offer me?
Is this a stupid decision?

Big changes are...
Adjustable center differential.
The updated/revised AWD system.
New gearing.
Revised head for better cooling.
HID's.
The front end is different, obviously.
Just to list a couple of the main changes. But nothing really major, engine/chasis wise.
