Going to Germany.
My girlfriend and I are going to Germany in the middle of March. We are flying into Frankfurt and staying in Stuttgart. We'll be there for a week.
We are planning on seeing the Porsche and Audi factory. I also want to see the Nurburgring. We'll be mainly taking public transportation everywhere we go, but we may have a car for a few days too. Give me some suggestions on sites/cities/locations etc. that we should see. Keep in mind my gf isn't really that in to cars.
We have never been to Europe before so this will be a first.
Thanks.
Call ahead for the auto factory tours as they may only run certain hours and you may have limited options for English speaking...but I would highly suggest a factory tour!
Maybe go to Austria
Best place I have been in has been Interlaken (south Switzerland) not sure how far this may be for you. Look up Interlaken, Grindelwald, Jungfrau Region - you will be on top of the world.

Heidelberg is a really cool city, and actually very close to Hockenheim, and the Hockenheimring is pretty cool itself, they have a great museum there.
Nurburg is northwest of everything, and is very remote country. Don't confuse Nurburg, which is in the Eiffel mountains, with Nuremberg, which is in Bavaria, about an hour north of Munich. Nuremberg is also a nice city to visit.
