A good reason to change from 1998.5 1.8T 2002 1.8T

Can someone tell me what is a strong reason to make the change if the 98.5 still run good and strong? It sounds like paying more $ to be in basically the same car/engine. Is that significate improvement besides it's just "newer"?

I like the signal switch thing.

I drove my friend's 02 A4 few weeks ago, and I liked the signal switch. It was like if you move it upward, it will have right signal for few second or couple brink and turned off automatically.

But I like my 01.

The interior is *significantly* enhanced from a 98.5.. But I say keep the 98.5...

...if it's running fine, and especially if you want to do some mods, you have a nice non-DBW to do that with. Not worth the money to 'upgrade' IMHO.

not worth it... if youre going to switch at least switch into the new bodystyle....

anything else is kinda of a waste of time and money...

few good features

cool colors like denim blue and dolphin gray
in-dash 6 disc cd chaner
170 hp
dual exhaust
under the seat storage (very cool)
new dash.

I personally like the new 3.0 because of the 6-speed and 220hp
