your shocks are probably done...
springs are a nice upgrade in handling. the car will look a world better sitting a little bit lower.
Two of my shocks were leaking I think the others were near the end of their life span too. The car had 81K miles.
The shocks werent able to push their pistons back out when compressed. On the other hand the new bilsteins were quite hard to push in and immediately pushed their pistons back out.
Bilstein sports are about $450 from ecstuning.com
Springs range from $205 for vogtland sports at purems.com to like $260 or so for any of the numerous springs.
