Grinding while breaking...
After some snow, brakes seem to be grinding while breaking. Have been searching around and found a couple of answers, either need new pads/rotors or could be from some rust/condensation accumulation from the cold weather. Here's a quick pic of the pads (sorry, no time to take the wheels off) What do you think, need new pads? Also, with new pads, probably get EBC Greenstuff or Mintex Redbox, have you always had the rotors resurfaced? OEM is on now.

agree with the others...pads look good...
now take off the wheel and look at the inner pads! The pad may have separated from the backing plate.
And put a jackstand under the car before you even THINK of sticking your head in the wheel well.

lets see some pics of the tire tread wear...
the 350Z's are loud under breaking due to abnormal tire wear.
your pads and rotors look fine. i've never heard of pads wearing so unevenly that one would be new and the other basically dead. also, your rotors look like they've got some decent pad material transfer, that makes for better braking with slightly extra sound.

I would really recommend staying there the extra night...
Starting off the event being dead tired isn't the best idea. Furthermore, it's COLD up there in Feb. You'd be surprised how much it wears you down when you're outside most of the day. If you're trying to economize, drive back down on Sunday (you probably already were). Things start winding down around 1-3, so you can get an early start.
