has anyone experienced a decrease in mileage with Shell's new 93 oct V-power?

I came up about 30 miles short on this tank. I know that's not huge, but I actually did more hwy driving than normal, so if anything it *should* have been a bit better. I track my mileage with every tank and this is one of the few times that my mileage was lower than usual and this was the first time I filled with Shell's V-power. I use Chevron 93 99% of the time, so this was a switch for me.

no idea but

i get ~300/tank around town running on 93 that, according to angryalex, has been pissed in.

I never use shell.

ya, with mostly city driving I pull about 320-330 on a tank,

that's with refilling about 14.3 gallons, so there may be room for more

i'm not going to risk it though. i know it's bad to run a tank down because of sediments and what not, but i figured if i do it EVERY tank, than the collected crap will only be bad, but not horrible. whereas if i didn't, if i ever HAD to run down to E, it'd all be sludgetastic.

if raj says not to use shell, i'll seriouslly consider not using shell =D

I didn't say don't use it, I said "I don't use it".

I've read too many stories about cars not running right...and as soon as they switch away from Shell (since that brought about the issues), everything is better.
