headlight failure
so i just went on a skip trip from denver to wolf creek and back (about 1000 miles total) everything was fine the entire trip. the next time i got into the a4, both headlights were out. because they failed simultaneously, i suspected a fuse, but there are separate fuses for right and left, and there are no spare 15 amp fuse to even try a swap. it has been very cold (0 degrees at night, even in the garage). there is still snow and ice on the car from when i got back on thursday night. would extreme cold cause a problem like this. or is there some reason why both bulbs would burn out at the same time? the instrument panel computer is just giving me the dead bulb error. i dont think its be smart to drive around tonight with parking/fog lights, but ive got a poker game to go to...wtf?
