headlight problem...what is wrong?

My right lowbeam headlight has gone out. Now, I thought it was the bulb, but one day when driving I went over a pothole and it turned back on. It then went off again, so I opened up the area where the bulb is housed, unplugged the connector and then replugged it back in and it turned on. After driving some, it turned off again, and now its off. Anyone have a solution for this? It doesn't seem to be the bulb...

It's possible that the filament is broken and making intermitent contact.

Probably a bad ground.....

Trace back the ground connection and re-attach, make sure all the connections are tight.
