headlight switch
I have a 98.5 2.8, bought it in 04, had it for about 6 months, headlight switch went, so i replaced it, had it for about a year, headlight switch went again, dealer gave me another for free because it was within a year, replaced it, had it for about another year and a half, headlight switch just went again, i don't drive with my fogs on (i read somewhere on aw that this can cause burnout faster) any ideas on what this could be? i know they go once and a while, but once a year? i only drive about 5 k a year as well

That's the combination column switch---headlight,cruise,turn signal
Not sure why they keep going on you; there isn't anything inside that can burn out. Usually, some electrical contact cleaner is all you need to fix it.
