Headlights pointing down

I have 2001 a4 1.8t. My problem is that my headlights seem to be pointing down. They do not light up the road beyond say 6 to 10 feet in front of the car. An ideas on how to fix this? Thank you in advance.

Possibly a broken adjuster inside the lamp itself. Gotta replace the lamp

if you can't find spare parts from a junk yard or the like.

make sure the headlight is properly set in place. There is a mount by the radiator

that the front corner of the headlight slips into. If you don't have that in, the headlight will be aimed down

Check to make sure the bulb is installed correctly first.
