Hella Micro De's Halogen
I have HID lowbeams, and when i turn the fogs on, they light up the area above my lowbeam cutoff. The fogs have the HELLA logo imprinted on them, and the directions say to mount them right side up, as i currently do. But i'm thinking, maybe i should turn them upside down instead??
I wrote an email to a HELLA support rep and heres all he had to say:
Casey.Callaway@hinc.hella.com
"Remember that the micro de is a small lamp with big light. Keep the hella logo in the correct position and enjoy the increased vision at night.
Thanks, Casey"
The driver side is no problem, but the passenger side hits against the 2nd lower air horn. Easily fixed, by removing the lower air horn. Horn sounds funnier, but i can live without it. The one left is enough tooting to tell the driver in front that the light is green, or scare off pedestrians and cats

Actually, you can save the lower horn, but it requires more work than i wanted to do. Just bend the lower horn bracket down and out of way, and extend the connector plug.
Years a 1999 BTW
