I'm a newbie here and just bought a 1999 Audi A4 Avant as a daily driver. Can someone tell me the name of these "side things" under the doors. I'd like to get them for my car. http://www.cartype.com/pics/3944/ful...s4-avant_1.jpg

That is a Audi Allroad. They come stock and are normally aluminum in color. Those have been painted body color. Won't fit A4 and not sure if there are any aftermarket ones that will.

Edit: That actually might be a A4, but not sure if those are stock or aftermarket.

those are the S4/USP package "door blades" from a B6 model S4/A4 the car pictured is an S4, but they also came on the Ultra Sport Package A4's.
i doubt they will fit a B5, but you could always try... maybe with a little modification they would go on.
