HELP!

HELP!
Ok, so I'm driving home today and then the car acts up. It sounded like a clunking noise you get when you get snow built up in the wheel-well. So I pull over, look, no snow. Look around to make sure things are good underneath, can't see anything wrong. Proceed to drive and it starts making the noises again. I have no clue what it is. Pull over again, look, air up the tires a little more, still nothing. Noise is still going on here and there. Well by the time I was almost home, the ABS and BRAKE lights light up. I have no clue what the hell is going on. I called my buddy who's a mechanice and he said could be one of many things. Bad CB joints (or whatever), bad CB boot, something caught between the brake dust shield and rotor, possibly the wheel rotation sensor broke off (I think that's what it's called) or yeah. So I'm wondering if anyone on here has ANY idea what the hell this could be. Like I said, best way to describe the noises made where what it sounds like when you get snow build-up around your tires.
