Help!!!
(long story)
I got my car back yesterday after getting my timing belt replace, So i was pretty excited to take it down to the freeway for a test drive, as soon as I step down to the pedal, i've noticed that there is absolutely no power or boost at all.(by the way i had an 98 A4 1.8TQMS) So I came back to the shop and told them that, my car is acting wierd, so they test the car for codes and then they found out that my throttle body is malfunctioning. Then the check engine light came on, they said that I have to replace my throttle body, so there is another $500 on top of my $1000, timing belt replacement. Today i was driving down the street, everytime that i floored the pedal, the car will shutter really bad, it feels like the car is in hydraulics. Any suggestion that might cost the problem???, I need your help??> Thanks

Not sure how much it will help... but throttle body adaptation...
From reading the forum there is a mixed bag on how to do this correctly. I'll just tell you three i've heard and you can decide if you'd like to try it. First was put your key in iginition and turn to accesory (sp?). Let it sit for 2 mins you will here clicking during this time... after 2 mins turn ignition to off position. Then wait a couple seconds, then turn on. Second.. just disconnect battery.. let it sit for about a min, then reconnect. Third, Use A Vag tool. Hope some of this helped. I'm not saying i'm right about any of these.. just they are what i've read. I may be wrong
