Help...

2 questions:
I have a leak somewhere in my wiper fluid tank/hose. If I fill the tank it just drains out. How can I check which it is, and how can I fix it?

how do you operate the headlamp washers? i turn on the headlights and hold down the windshield washer lever, but nothing happens.

1. figure out where is leaking. There is no shortcut.
2. that means your washer pump might be broken. Headlamp washer should operate when the headlight is on and you pull the wiper stalk.

here is some help..

First, the leaking washer could be a cracked washer line or a cracked fluid tank. When you poor the fluid in do you see it poor out the bottom? Or..does it occur over a period of time? If it occurs when you use the system over time, have a friend do the washers while you look under the hood for the leak. If you have nobody around take a piece of string and tie it carefully to your steering wheel and washer stick..causing it to engage the washer spray...then go check under the hood to check. Second, the headlight washers have a fuse. Check the fuse first to make sure that is fine. Then if so, you may have a bad pump. Does it make noise as if it is going to work?

The casing on the pump has been know to crack which leads to the leak this also causes a pressure dr

op strong enough to cause the Headlight washer to become inoperable (even though the pump is still electrically sound). This has been covered before on this forum. There is a guy who did a write up on how to sleeve the pump.
