Help!!! Choosing A Chip
To anyone with a chip or knowledge about chips.<br>I have been researching all the companies and <br>would like to hear good and bad from anyone about<br>these companies. Neuspeed.....
I just got my Neuspeed chip and filter installed over the weekend. I must say that it is much better, and is a nice inexpensive upgrade. For $200 from Greedspeed the 40+ extra horsepower is much better and makes the car feel like the way it should've came from the factory. I think the Neuspeed upgrade is great for those who don't have the $$ to begin with or don't plan to "go all out". It's ample power for my daily commutes and without question adds more excitement. Not quite the same "seat of the pants" feel from my older Eclipse turbo, but still well worth the money. Sorry I can't compare the other chips, but you can buy other toys for your car with the money you save (ie. springs, etc).<p>99 1.8T QMS

I am currently wait for my 99.5. My roomy Chris Ciccone recently purchased a chip from Autothority. I can't even begin to explain what a difference it has made. We borrowed a g-tech from a freind. I was in the car with Chris he had a 1/2full tank and the 0-60 was 6.69. I personally will choose no other chip for my car. The power is smooth and consistant all the way through the gears. This may help to hide the effects from the dealership(not totally sure on that). Hope this helps.. Enjoy it cause it's never the same when you chip it.
