Help with DTC.......

Engine ECU keeps throwing 17535: Fuel Trim Bank 1 (Mult):System too rich 35-00

This puts the car into limp and I can't get any boost.

Any troubleshooting suggestions?

My Bentley manual hasn't arrived yet.

Bentley says :

1. Check MAF
2. Check O2 sensor behind cat
3. check fuel pressure regulator
4. check injectors . .diagnostic test
5. check o2s control

does it say what to check, or give further instructions for the VAG tool? Thanks, BTW.

Yes .. need a Vag Com (or equiv) to do diagnostic mode tests on Injectors (m)

Also need a Vag Com and various vag tools for the balance of the tests . .sorry

I've got the Ross-Tech, that's how I pulled the codes.

What other tools do I need. What can I do with the VAG-COM?

Just re-read your post .. missed that you imply you do have a Vag Com ...

so you can test injectors using it ... the balance of the tests are:
Rear o2 sensor . .Read Measuring Value Block function 08 then compare data in Block 36

MAF .. Read Measuring Value Block function 08 then display group number 2 ... compare values

Front o2 sensor ... Read Measuring Value Block function 08 then compare data in display group number 41

Once done there are of course many links to next steps .. depending on which value is amiss. If you trouble shoot and can narrow it down I'd be happy to give you next steps .. but I can't copy the whole Bently here
