Help! EPC light
Does anyone know anything about the EPC light - for Electronic Power Control? This is the third time mine has light up. It throws me into half power mode. Leaving on vacation in four days! The engine gets really HOT to the touch even the coolant container is very hot!
I had a repair done a month ago where the coolant was leaking at the back of the engine near the firewall. The dealer said they had never seen a leak there before. They replaced a bunch of hoses. I'm wondering if that could be related. Help!
Car is a 2000 1.8T with 6500 miles!

I had a similar problem though not related to coolant. I would definatly take this back to the dealer NOW. I had a faulty ECU that was causing the limp mode power. You have something wrong that needs to be addressed immediatly!
