Help with the math PLEASE!
I was always bad at math! How do I calculate a % above dealer invoice? And then how does that figure get me a monthly payment? I think I have a major number block in my head today. Thanks for any help you can give. I want to go into a dealer and be totally prepared and not be scammed.

First I assume that you have gotten the correct dealer invoice amount not the MSRP. If you haven't, go to edmunds or kellys blue book and you'll see what I'm talking about. Also check for dealer hold backs and incentives. Subtract those from whatever invoice price you come up with along with anything else that they say the dealer gets when he sells a car. There is actually an area on the edmunds page if I remember correctly that will give you that info.<p>OK if you've done that, sorry to waste your time. Now just take that invoice cost and Mult it by 1.0X. X bing the % over that you are willing to pay. That will give you the grand total of the price you'll pay. <p>Now for monthly payment, Just make it easy and go to the edmunds page again. Go through the new car page entering under Audi and you'll pick a model and then you'll see the financing and loan calculator option. Click it and enter the terms of the loan you'll be getting and the other info. That's it.<p>Post back if you have any other questions.<p>edmunds.com
