HELP ME!!
I need to take my car to the dealership but i have a chip? Will they void it because of this? what are the chances of them finding it? i'm suposed to take it there today i need to find out fast please help

Ah, the joys of planning ahead ;)
For what it's worth I have taken my car with a GIAC chip to the dealer for routine maintainance (oil change, etc.) and they never complained about it. However I do have a spare ECU in the trunk in case I need to go in for some major warranty work. YMMV.

well the problem i'm having just occured last night. it sounds like exhuast is leaking from the engine somewhere, so i'm no sure if they would be looking at my ECU for something like this, but i was tempted to run back to where i had my chip installed and have them put the stock chip back in but i don't wanna drive 30 mins with it running the way it is.

Dealer may be cool about it but, in my experience, dealers are never cool...
If they test drive your car or run serious diagnostics on it, they'll definitely know that it's chipped. They will almost certainly void your warranty. It's best to wait a day (even if you have to rent a car) and try to get a stock program shipped to you that you can swap into your ECU. I guarantee that almost any expense of time and effort will be worth it to preserve your warranty. My A4 breaks down constantly (even running the stock engine program for all but 1 month) and I wouldn't be able to afford the repair costs (would have cost me over $3000 last year), if I didn't have the warranty.
