Help me decide....

<center><img src="http://www.vw.com/art/performance/gti_20th/gallery/gal_lg_gti_2.jpg"></center><p>Lease is comming up on my 2000 1.8tq and im 8000mi (48000 total) miles over my lease agreement. Should I try to trade it in for a 20th ann GTI?

Should I buy it for $16000 and try to sell it myself?

Anybody? Ideas?

Mods are GIAC, 17" Ronal LZs, 235 40 17 avs inters, H&R coilovers, A8 rotors

well, you're in quite a pickle.

so either way, you'll be getting the gti?

that was the plan....

I like it a.......lot, but im just wondering if they will kill me on mods or miles and if I would be better off trying to sell it myself to get the GTI

but on the trade in they sometimes look the other way

just pay it, you will lose less money that way and be out of the lease.

That has happend to my Dad and the best way to handle it is to pay for the miles and walk away. Next time buy a used car or pay more on your lease for more mileage.
