HELP!!! No start...

My 2001 1.8T 5 speed with 1100 miles refused to start tonight and sits dead in my driveway. I backed out of my garage to give her a bath with no problems. Before I started washing, I had to move the car so my wife could get her truck out. Put the key in, push in the clutch, turn the key...nothing...silence...no crank at all. I know some others have had similiar problems, but the search doesn't seem to be working. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, its off to the dealer tomorrow.

Dealer.

There are things you can try. But you don't want a warranty beef, let the dealer handle it.

This may sound simple and I apologize if you have tried it. I have encountered the same problem when/just before my ignition switch went bad. I was able to start the car if I turned the wheel one direction or another and then turned the key. Turn one way and hold then try, etc. Good Luck!
