Default Help please!

I am working on an Audi which broke down in our driveway. Learned how to take the front off... Broke the headlight washer line, etc.... Now I am stuck not knowing what this piece is or where it goes. Can someone please identify this for me and let me know what to do with it?

Does it have something to do with air? Air not blowing in the cabin though engine runs

What year, engine, and model? Is this a plug you disconnected then forgot where is went or one you found unplugged? What does your question about air in the cabin mean? A/C, or fresh air or?
