Help Still overheating...
I replaced the Thermostat, replaced the coolant sensor twice, and flushed the system. The car still says it's overheating. I put a Digital Termal meter in the coolant flow and it'd get up to about 235-220f degrees. When I flushed the system not all of the coolant came out, and the reservoir wasn't draining down so I shot a little air into the overflow hose on the reservoir, and that cleared it out. I pulled off the coolant bleeder hose that goes into the heating coils, and there was still some coolant in there. I put in the Prestone Superflush, and some water ran the car for 10-15minutes. The car got up to the last bar on the heat guage even though the thermal meter said it was running between 234-220f. We blew all the flush stuff out and I'm not sure what to do? When I originally checked to see if the coolant system was bleed correctly with the car warmed up the cooland was dribbling very slowly out of the bleeder hole. When I had the bleeder hole open last night it was squirting pretty good.
Could it be the water pump?
How is the fluid supposed to come out of the bleeder hose?
Does anyone have the correct part number for a (early)1999 Audi A4 1.8t coolant sensor?
What do you think it is or should I try next?
Thank You

Take off the thermostat housing, put your finger in there and press on the fan blades while turning the pulley for the water pump. If you can hold the blades still with your fingers then your WP is eff'd
