Help!! Stuck collar bolt!
I am in the process of replacing my rear wheel bearing but I can't get the collar bolt out, and it is now stripped. I am looking for my last resorts before I have to break down and go to a mechanic. Has anyone met this problem before and conquered it (if so please let me know). TIA

do you know how to use easy outs?
you take a drill and drill into the centre of the bolt. You then hook up an easy out ( a really sharp square object). You tap this in, hook a wrench on it. and Voila.. or "FU@K" good luck

Small 6" pipe wrench and a hammer; what I use for such situations
The pipe wrench has the grooves in the face (not a pipe wrench with a flat face). I've used this several times on Allen headed bolts that I've stripped. Grab the bolt head with the wrench, tighten up by hand, then hammer the end of the wrench. The face serrations grab and dig into the bolt head and the hammering jars the bolt loose.
