HELP!!! Transmission Problem!!
are measuring blocks showing the solenoids.
Maybe try logging the car when driving and take note of the volts for 4th gear solenoid to see if it's faulty by measuring resistance?
Also, have you ever changed the fluid and filter?
this, and some do not after ATF refill.
Sometimes after filling with new fluid, the
tranny can react by slipping I'm not exactly
sure why, but sludge and varnish could be the
culprit. I know some folks say "yeah but it's
sealed"... well isn't that what Audi says too.
Audi also states it's "lifetime fluid."
I had recently gone through a issue with my
trans. slipping 8 months later after refilling
the ATF. I had not been able to replace the
filter at that time. So I refilled again
recently with a new filter and I also added
AutoRx and about 1 week later the slipping
stopped. This could be because varnish or
sludge is getting removed and/or perhaps
clogging one of the many oil passages.
Also try cleaning your MAF (MAF cleaner only).
And do throttle body adaptation with VAG-COm too.

How many miles were on the tranny before fluid and filter replacement?
What ATF do you have in there? Pentosin
is probably best. I have Amsoil in mine
right now but it is LT 71141 (ESSO)
approved (important).
If your brazen... you might.. and I say might want to try AutoRx. It's
very safe as far as I'm concerned. Fatty
lanolin acids. But it can have an adverse
affect on the ATF's viscosity... but i only
use 6 ounces.
However if the tranny starts to show signs
of getting worse after the AutoRx, then drain & refill.
