Default Here a thought..and question..

Suppose I go to dealer with mods on my car, suspension or chip something major like that. I get denied warrenty. Do they enter this info into the computer somehow to flag you, or is it possible to go home remove mods and go to another dealer? Anyone have info on this

Default shouldnt get denied warranty unless they can prove that whatever mod you did..

caused the actual damage.

Default Yea but you know if you have lowered suspension and control arm goes out the will give you sh*t.

What am I going to do get a lawyer? It would be so time consuming and costly.

Default if they wanted to be dicks about something like that they can...

but its not waranted.. since AOA is aware that the control arms have issues. even if they have not recognized it as a recall

Default True true, I think I'm gonna take the risk cause I badly want to slam my car. and the springs and

shocks are staring me in the face in the garage.

Default yep, theres a computer

but, the worst they should be able to to is give you what you have rightfully coming, like deny suspension work if you have aftermarket exhasut.

Default All major car companies do this

they can use the computer to look up your radio code, or make sure a used car has had all of its services.. its common practice.. it does depend on the dealership, but honestly, once they deny a service, unless the other dealeriship disagrees, i doubt you will be able to claim service.
