Hi, how do I add an extra wire to ground the HID ballast?

Hi, how do I add an extra wire to ground the HID ballast?

This may sound dumb, but do I just wrap around it and connect to a ground point?? Or I have to wire it into the ballast?

i connected a 12 ga wire at the point where the ground wire from the ballast connects to the ground wire from the car (inside the headlight housing). routed it out of the housing through the little fender hole and connected it using an O ring. HTH.

i forget ...

from the car, ground is usually brown. But I forget what color it is inside the ecode housing. are you wiring the HIDs to valeo ecodes?
